ACE Week
ACE Week
Ace Week (AKA Asexual Awareness Week) is an annual event celebrated on the last full week of October, starting on Sunday. It’s a dedicated time to dive deep into the world of asexuality, an orientation where people experience little to no sexual attraction. This week-long campaign celebrates the asexual-spectrum community, inviting the world to acknowledge and support asexuality. It’s a chance to connect, share experiences, and educate others about the diverse identities within the ace community.
Asexuality isn’t one-size-fits-all. People may still experience romantic attraction, and some may feel other forms of attraction, such as aesthetic, sensual, or platonic. This week is an opportunity to deepen our understanding, support others, and learn more about the diverse experiences within the ace community. From workshops to webinars, it’s a chance for asexual individuals and their allies to share stories, build connections, and spread understanding. Isn’t that, well…ace?
