Race Equality Week is a yearly event in the UK that brings people and organisations together to tackle workplace racism and create more inclusive environments. It’s packed with activities and conversations designed to inspire real change and help leaders build anti-racist work cultures. By sharing ideas and initiatives, it’s all about creating fairer, more welcoming workplaces for everyone, no matter their race or ethnicity.
The stats are tough to hear: two in five Black, Asian, and Ethnic Minority employees face racism at work—whether it’s offensive jokes or outright harassment. And too often, people stay silent, worried about the impact on their careers or relationships. This week is a chance to change that. It’s about listening, learning, and taking action to make sure our workplaces are places where everyone feels safe, valued, and treated equally. Because when we get this right, everyone benefits.
