World Menopause Day
World Menopause Day
World Menopause Day pops up on the 18th of October each year, and it’s all about keeping things real when it comes to discussing the challenges of menopause. There’s no need for frills; it’s simply an opportunity to have open conversations about what menopause truly entails and to inform people that support is available for those navigating this stage of life.
Despite menopause affecting around 51% of the population, there’s a big gap in awareness and understanding, even amongst women themselves. All the more reason to join the conversation! Menopause isn’t glamorous; it affects people differently, regardless of gender or age. By recognising today, we break the silence and stigma, creating a space for truthful conversations. It’s about ensuring everyone gets the support they need at work and in life, so no one is left in the dark. Awesome.
