Self-Awareness Booster
Knowing yourself is the beginning of all wisdom – Aristotle
We’ve all heard about the benefits of self-awareness, but let’s be honest, it can be pretty daunting to look inward and confront our flaws. However, better relationships, improved moods, clearer thinking, and better decision making are all reasons why you should care about self-awareness. Plus, who doesn’t want to be the cool kid who knows themselves inside and out?
In this training course, we’re not going to force you to meditate for hours or stand in front of a mirror reciting positive affirmations (all good, if you have the time). We’ll be exploring a framework to help you learn more about yourself, your team, and loved ones, and to help you build more meaningful and fulfilling relationships.
We’ll dive into various tools and techniques that you can use to enhance your self-awareness, including reflective practices, self-assessments, and feedback from others. We’ve also created a tool that facilitates feedback from your peers to aid self discovery, team reflection and honest communication.
One of the key aspects of this course is about uncovering our blind spots and exploring our potential, so we can identify areas for growth and take steps towards personal and professional development.
By the end of the course, you’ll have a toolkit of strategies and techniques to improve your emotional intelligence and to help raise self-awareness in you and your team and maybe even discover a hidden talent or two.
Here’s what we’ll cover:
How a lack of self-awareness can negatively impact personal relationships, career success, and overall well-being
The benefits of mindfulness and how it can help you be less reactive and stay more centred
How to gain a deeper understanding of ourselves, including our strengths, weaknesses, blind spots, and potential
More effective ways to communicate with others by increasing our self-disclosure and our ability to receive feedback
A toolkit of strategies and techniques to improve emotional intelligence and self-awareness
