HappyMind Training Course
We’ve all had those difficult conversations. The ones that make your stomach churn or have you rehearsing lines in the shower. Whether it’s a performance review, a difficult negotiation, or a disagreement with a colleague, challenging conversations can be some of the most stressful and uncomfortable situations in the workplace.
Our Challenging Conversations training course will equip you with the tools and strategies you need to handle the most difficult conversations. We’ll explore the art of active listening and how to ask powerful questions, helping you to build trust and rapport quickly with a diverse group of stakeholders. We’ll also cover how to handle objections and navigate disagreements in a constructive and productive way.
We dive into the more emotional aspects of challenging conversations too. We’ll explore how to handle intense emotions in yourself and others, and how to respond when things get heated. We’ll also discuss how to stay aligned with your priorities and values while still being open to different perspectives and ideas.
This training course is designed for anyone who wants to improve their communication skills and feel more confident in handling those brave conversations that we so often avoid.
You’ll leave with practical ways to handle tough situations, support others through theirs, and strengthen relationships along the way. When people talk honestly and listen with care, work feels lighter, smarter, and more connected.

We regularly collect feedback from participants at the end of each session. With permission, we’ve included a selection of their comments below to give you an honest insight into the experience and impact of each course.
