Stress is part of life. Deadlines pile up, demands grow, your calendar keeps refilling itself, and before you know it, your brain’s in overdrive. But what if stress wasn’t the bad guy after all? Some stress sharpens focus and fuels performance, but too much drains energy, clouds judgement, and turns small challenges into big ones. The good news? You can train your mind and body to handle it better. That’s what Stress Intelligence is all about.

This training course is about understanding your body’s stress response and learning how to keep it in check. We explore what happens when your mind sounds the alarm, that old fight-or-flight system that once kept us safe from sabre-toothed tigers but now reacts to emails, deadlines, and awkward meetings. You’ll see how stress shows up in your body, thoughts, and behaviours, and learn how to spot the signs before things boil over.

From there, we get practical. You’ll learn how to lighten your “stress bucket,” focus on what you can control, and reframe how you respond to pressure. We’ll look at the tools that make a real difference: saying no (without guilt), setting healthy boundaries, prioritising what matters, and building habits that protect your energy. You’ll find that when you manage your own stress well, it’s easier to help your team and colleagues do the same.

Expect stories, science, and strategies you’ll actually use. You’ll leave with tools to reset, refocus, and build resilience that lasts. Because managing stress isn’t about avoiding pressure, it’s about finding calm in the chaos and feeling strong enough to handle whatever comes next.

Can this training course be delivered in person?
All our training courses are delivered virtually using MS Teams, WebEx and Zoom. We have offices in London, Brighton and Auckland and deliver classroom workshops in the UK, Europe, NZ and Australia.
How do you make learning fun?
All of our training is designed in-house by our awesome trainers and graphic designers. We use cutting-edge production techniques to create fun and inspiring ways to engage with our learners that helps make learning easy and long lasting. We are often asked "how are you doing this?!"
What is the ideal group size?
All of our training courses are highly interactive. For virtual and hybrid training sessions we suggest a maximum of 24 participants and for classroom training the optimum group size is 16-18.
