Dementia Action Week

Dementia Action Week is a campaign with shifting dates each year. It’s a time when people from all walks of life unite to make a difference in the lives of those facing dementia. ‘Cause here’s the thing. Dementia doesn’t come with a label; it affects anyone. Often, we don’t even know who’s silently battling it. It’s a heart-wrenching illness that affects not just individuals but entire families. 

Joining this week helps boost awareness and support. Whether it’s sharing stats, organising an office fundraiser or lending a listening ear to someone witnessing a loved one’s battle with dementia. By doing so, we not only shine a light on the challenges, but also stress the need for a compassionate and robust care system that helps families seek a timely diagnosis and vital support.
