International Day of Happiness

Woohoo! It’s International Day of Happiness! Created by the UN in 2012, it kicks off every year on March 20th, championing the relevance of happiness and well-being as universal goals and aspirations in the lives of human beings around the world. The date was chosen to coincide with the March equinox, symbolising the idea of universal happiness. Look out for a host of activities and events that promote happiness and its essential role in our lives. 

Here’s the thing, happiness knows no bounds. It transcends cultural, economic, and geographical lines, bringing folks together in a common pursuit of joy. But happiness can only be universal when there’s equality among the world’s people. That’s the message today. It underscores that happiness is a fundamental human right, it aims to create an environment where everyone has the chance to achieve it. Happy days.
