Endometriosis Awareness Month
Endometriosis Awareness Month
It’s Endometriosis Awareness month! Etched on our calendars every March, this date signals a collective effort to amplify the challenges faced by those with endometriosis, as well as advocating for more understanding, better treatment, and heightened research. The mission? To engage with governments, media, employers, and healthcare providers, emphasising the huge impact endometriosis has on mental health, and the crucial need for better workplace support.

Even if you’re not directly affected, acknowledging this campaign is so helpful. Despite endometriosis affecting 1.5 million women and individuals assigned female at birth in the UK, many folks remain unaware of it. This week is a societal wake-up call to help dismantle pervasive ignorance surrounding endometriosis and ensure people get the support and healthcare access they need. It’s not just about helping people navigate endometriosis, but fostering more understanding on a bigger scale.
