World Cancer Day
World Cancer Day
World Cancer Day, held every 4th February, is a powerful global initiative championed by the Union for International Cancer Control. Launched in 2000, itβs since grown into one mighty movement, connecting people worldwide. The dayβs dedicated to boosting cancer awareness and inspiring us to fight for more equitable access to treatment and care β no matter who you are or where you live.β¨
Cancer is a reality that touches us all, directly or indirectly. The disease knows no boundaries of age, race or social status. And thatβs what makes today so crucial. Under this year’s theme, “Close the Care Gap,” we’re called to acknowledge the disparities in cancer care. So why not raise your voices and help bridge the gap? Whether it’s sparking a chat with a colleague, hosting an event or spreading the word β every action counts in building a more inclusive future.β¨
