International Day of the Girl Child

The International Day of the Girl Child, which kicks-off on October 11th each year, is a global initiative aimed at highlighting and addressing the challenges girls face while advocating for their rights and empowerment. Founded by the UN in 2011, it underscores the need for equality, education, and greater opportunities for girls around the world. The bottom line?
