Non-Binary Awareness Week
Non-Binary Awareness Week
Non-Binary Awareness Week kicks off on the Monday before International Non-Binary People’s Day on July 14. Established in 2012 by Katje van Loon, the week challenges traditional gender norms and celebrates everyone who identifies beyond the binary. Positioned between International Men’s Day and International Women’s Day, it’s the perfect time to bridge the gap and promote greater understanding and inclusion for non-binary folks.
Taking part in the conversation means opening your eyes to a world painted in more colours than you knew existed. This week, we get to turn up the volume on voices that are too often hushed, pushing for everyone’s right to be their awesome, unfiltered selves. We’re not just talking awareness here – we’re talking respect and a rock-solid promise to champion a world where everyone is celebrated for being exactly who they are.
